Conclusion Of
SISPEC Term 1
End of term 1 of SISPEC. At last I got a well-deserved 5 days break before returning back to Tekong for term 2 phrase. What have i learnt and experience so far in this term 1 (6 weeks). I can say it's both mental and physical demanding.

- 3m and 5m water platform jumps at Changi Naval Base.
* Gypsy I (Navigation Course with instructor)
- First group to reach company do nothing, waiting for the
rest of the company to finish their exercise.
* Gypsy II (Navigation Course in a group of 4 mates)
- Really lost our way. Bobo navigators in my group.

12 midnight ++ Super Shagged.
* Wanderer (Navigation Exam in a group of 4 mates)
- Learnt the lesson from Gypsy II.

information we had gathered before hand. Heh heh

* 6 Standard Obstacle Course (SOC)
- Passing time is 10 min 30 sec below
- Run until u feel damn high. My heart keep pounding hard and
fighting for air. Siong but think of the resting time
at end of the course. Self motivation.

* Additional Obstacle Course
- Canvas Jump (2 storeys)
28 men holding canvas below you
- Omega Descend aka flying fox(4 storeys)
Many became supermen cos there's no braking system
at the end of the system. We have to twist the bar to
one side hard to brake. But in the end, many ate sand
in the end but i didn't. I just became superman.
- High Wall (2 storeys)
Transporting all men over to other side of wall.
No one to be left behind. Some of us took off our long
4 uniforms and tied to make a rope so that the last
man can climb over.
- High Rope.
Walking on rope over 2 storeys.
Saw one of my platoon mates almost cry.
Whahaha. Evil sergeants.
This is some of the interesting activites that i went throught. Hopefully Jackie Chan notice us and sign us as part-time stunt men cos we dun wear harness in some of the obstacles!! Heh Heh...
* Phyical Fitness Side Of Me?
Having staying and sleeping at the level 6 of my company
block. Climbing up and down the stairs is like a normal daily
routine. I guess i pumped in enough muscles in my thighs now.
Running 2.4km is like no kick to me compared the days in poly
life. Hmmm... as for the chin-ups regime before meal, we had
to do a number of pull-ups told by the duty instuctor for that
day. But normally it's always 12 pull-ups that we have to do.
An IPPT gold standard. Failure to do 12, have to do extra more
exerise at the inclined pull-up bar or do diamond push-ups.
Each i do my pull-up, my bones will be cracking and my mates
are able to hear that cracking sound too. Haiz... need to drink
more gu ni (milk milk). Hey, the one who is reading my blog,
Got Milk?
1 Comments:
