1st Week Of
SISPEC Training
With my ache in my heart, I say goodbye to my bed, parents and mainland (Singapore). I'm heading towards School Of Infanty Specialists in Tekong. We were told to report the chief clerk exactly at 8.30am at pasir ris but none was present to mark the attendance. Almost half of the bus interchange was filled with green-camouflaged uniform Privates waiting to board the bus. Minute by minute, more and more Privates coming in to report at the bus interchange. There was no order or what so ever to lead us to Tekong. So we just wait and wait and wait. Soon, the number of Privates has snowballed to 5 companies booking in which damn god alot. The buses came, everybody boarded the bus one by one with my army duffer bag and field. The whole thing was so disorganised. Each time, there only be 3 bus the most to take to the ferry terminal. By the time it was my turn, it's already closed to 10.00am.
Reached the Tekong, feel somehow history repeated. Got the same feeling when the day i first enlisted into Basic Military Training. But now, it's SISPEC, attending Basic Section Leader Course. Got the posting of where i posted to which company, load up my barang barang things to the 5 tonner and drive off to the new home.
What have learnt this first week as a trainee?
* Basic Navigation (No detail to be said about the module)
Basically during the night navigation, I hor lan and lost my way in the vegetation. Knewing the mistakes that i made, I quickly backtracked to where i came off. Along, i iterally bashed thru the vegetation. There's no light at all. In my mind, I was I have been not alert enough. The ground was muddy after the rain. I slipped and fell off down the slope. Oh man, need to wash the uniform liao. Sibei sian. Sometimes, i got struck halfway by the hanging branches. But luckily, I found some of the company mates along the way and find our way out.

Just returned back from malaysia trip, Batu Pahat. It's a town in Johor situated at the west coast of malaysia, just 2 hours drive from JB through North-South highway. I applied for maximum of 3 days exit permit to go there with my family. The purpose of the visit? For fun, peace, joy and laugher. Wahaha. Actually went there to visit relative, do some shopping, hang around and most importantly eat and eat and eat to gain some weight back.
It's quite shock to see the immediate fashion trend among the youngsters in Batu Pahat. I can see difference each time i go back there. This time round for girls, it's mini-skirts or tight jeans or shorts that is really short. Their mini-skirts are damn mini lor. As for their tops, dun know why they wore white tops with black bras inside to show off? Otherwise, if you cannot see, still have the bra stripes on their shoulders. Rebonded hair for girls is also very typical nowadays. No wonder girls here married young. I think my 17 years old cousin of mine is going to marry soon lor after she found a boyfriend. For the guys, most of them looked skinny to me. Typical ah. Golden dyed hair still in fashion, spiky hairs coming up soon. Can see some ah bengs and sengs at the arcade dressing like this. The whole shopping center is like a parade for me to see. Good thing is that all the secondary 5 students have just finished their STMP exams (O'level). Will see those youngsters hanging around here and there.
I literally spents the whole day at the shopping complex (Summit Parade) with my brother. My father accompany my mother to see dentist in town. By the way dentist is NUS graduate. Left together with my brother and me to take bus from the interchange to the shopping complex. Just 40 cents only. Got up the mini-bus, paid the fare for 2. Still have to wait for the bus full, then the driver will drive. People in malaysia are not in hurry state.
We got to the computer center at the shopping mall, paid RM1 for an hour internet connection just to check up Initial D Ver 3. After which go to the arcade and play Initial D Ver 3. I think the arcade is quite up-to-date in this town, Soon, it's lunch time. My brother and I recce every floor for food, see any nice things to eat. Actually it's me who is choosy. My brother just want to sleep because he took overdosage of cough syrup . Suppose to take 10ml, he took 20ml. Sigh, don't no how to ah ga ah ga. Recce for so long, in the end, eat Mac Donald. As i eat, my brother sleep at the table. And I overheard this boy's conversation with his chio sister sitting at the table beside us. He said his friend always see girls like radar cos the girls here is like free for all to see blar blar. By the way, this boy is like primary sch type? After eating, I woke my brother up. Can see he damn stoned. I bought a shirt and my brother bought a Need for Speed 2: Underground. After which i suggested that we walked to grandmother's house to test the game.
Reached the house, my brother straight away lie on the sofa and sleep. The medicine must be damn powerful. And I entered the study room and installed the game. Alamak, no cd key. !@#$%^. So how, bo pian, lan lan have to go back to the shop and ask the cd key from them. But the weather is too hot, I slacked at the house for an hour while my brother is in the deep sleep. After that, we meet up with parents at the hotel. Told them what we did today, go where and then I went back alone to the shopping complex again to ask for the cd key. Damn sian.
Later in the day, we had dinner at the food mall beside the hotel. It's a newly renovated food mall. The place is used to be a school for night study and now it became a food paradise. It also have a archery center to play. Quite cool. At night, we went to the pasar malam at the old bus interchange just a walk away from my grandmother's house. The pasar malam here and in singapore is different. Here, it sells fish, vegetables, fruits like those in the wet market. Other would be those you normally can find in Singapore pasar malam.

As you shared your joys,
I listened with pleasure drowned in pain.
But you were unaware of whats going on,
Cause i refused to show signs of breaking down.
So you speak about your love,
And i felt my heart shatter into fragments.
Would there be anyone picking up the fragments,
And stick them back together.
I dont know,
But,
All i know is that,
I'll never be the same again.
If i had a chance,
I would make u mine again.
But it would be the same?
Will we flow as one?
Thoughts keep lingering in my mind,
Memories as fresh as the morning air.
It's hard to forget the things we have done,
Like what music is to us.
Even as i pray tonight,
Your face,
your smile,
Will just keep appearing.
You said goodbye and logged off,
When will i chat with you again.
If i do,
Then i'll pray that,
I'll be strong,
like never before.
